Munshiganj AL leader Mohiuddin released on bail

Oct 25: District AL president and ex-MP Md. Mohiuddin came out from jail today on bail.

Md. Mohiuddin along with 15 other accused in Taposh murder case had been arrested on 27 September. Taposh was killed on 26 September in broad day light.

Ex poura chairman Anisuzzaman Anis (younger brother of Md. Mohiuddin) filed a murder case accusing his eldest brother for Taposh Murder. Following the case police arrested a total of 18 accused including the main accused Md Mohiuddin.

Earlier his two bail petitions were rejected. Then he prayed for bail in the High Court. High Court granted his bail on 18 October but for some procedural works his bail was delayed.

The bail order today reached Munshiganj ADM court in the morning. He was released at 3:30 PM along with two other accused Mithu and Shah Alam.

The supporters and activists of AL and its front organisation brought out a big rally with Md. Mohiuddin. At kachari area Md. Mohiuddin standing on a rickshaw van expressed that he was a victim of circumstances. He said the facts would come after proper investigation.
