Abdul Hakim Bikrampuri

 

Late Abdul Hakim Bikrampuri was a politician, philanthropist and social worker as well as the member of the undivided Bengal Legislative Assembly, East Pakistan Legislative Council and Pakistan National Assembly from 1936 to 1965.

He was directly involved with publication of the Sawgat, Manashi, Mohammadi, Probashi, Sammyabadi and Sultan newspapers and magazines. He was the editor of the monthly 'Gramer Khata' published from Munshigonj.

He was a good writer and wrote many books like Islam in China, Sahitya Katha etc. He established and was directly involved in establishing many educational institutions in Munshigonj.
